    I believe this photo was taken in 1922. It had to be prior to 1924 (when the starting line was moved to in front of Maggie Mo). In 1920, Buggy #2 was shaped like a wheelbarrow/barrel and the "2" on the #2 sign was shaped differently, which looks different than Buggy #2 here. In 1921, there were only 18 buggies, so SAE would not be #19. In 1923, KapSig's buggy was #19. That leaves just just 1922 as a possibility.

    In 1922, there were 20 organizations, so it's possible that SAE would have been #19. In addition, it rained on Raceday in 1922, and this photo looks like the race was taking place on a wet course. Based on that, I conclude that this photo was taken in 1922, the year that SAE and PiKA tied for the win.
