This is what it all comes down to. All the work that everyone has done over the past year culminates in two days of buggy racing during Carnival.

The races are held over two days with the Preliminary races on Friday and Finals on Saturday. Every organization can have as many as four teams for both the men's and women's races. Every team competes on Friday but only the top 10 men's teams and top 6 women's teams race on Saturday.

Each heat of racing consists of three buggies racing at a time. In addition to racing against each other, the buggies are racing against the clock. A team's time and not their position in their heat is what determines which teams go on to Finals. The same format is used for Finals with the lowest time during the Finals races being declared the victor.
