One of our favorite events, the Alumni Panel will be back again at the Buggy Design Showcase on Thursday April 11 at 12:30 in Weigand Gym! Our VP, Jeremy Tuttle will again be moderating our band of alumni fools and here’s who’ll be on stage sharing their stories:

Thomas Felmley – Spirit – MCS ’88, CIT ’94

Part of design team for Spirit’s Quantum Leap. Winning chairman while in grad school, mid 90’s. Co-director of a small international disaster response ministry. Owner of Group 66 Designs, a small jewelry and project management firm.

Linna Griffin – Fringe & Sweeps – CFA ’17

Head Mechanic for fringe/Safety chair 16-17/ head judge last year/ now a product designer for automotive accessories.

Annie Black – SDC – DC ’18

Annie was Head Driver on SDC Buggy and drove 2014-2018. She was fortunate enough to be a part of the record breaking teams in 2016 and 2017. Since graduation Annie has been living in NYC working as a software engineer at MongoDB!

Duane Delaney – SigNu – CIT ’87

Mechanic, builder, chief wheel guru for Sigma Nu 1983-1990. Races attendee 35 consecutive years without missing a roll. Probably had something to do with 75% of the wheels on the course over the last 10 years. Currently rubber chemist with Goodyear.

Hunter Rideout – Fringe & Sweeps – CIT ’18

3 years leading Fringe buggy and one year as the president of Fringe as a whole. Spent a semester (Fall 18) as sweepstakes chairman.

Adam McCue – KDR & Sweeps – DC ’07

Returning for his repeat performance – Slowest pusher of all time 2003, House record holding KDR chair 2005, Safety chair 2006, head judge 2007, intoxicated 2008-present.
